Dungeon profit calculator

See the expected profit per run for every Catacombs floor, F1 to F7 and M1 to M7. The calculator combines wiki drop rates with live bazaar and auction prices to give you an actual coins-per-run figure for each floor, no spreadsheet required.

Plug in your average clear time and the tool flips that number into coins per hour, so normal vs Master Mode becomes a fair fight. Prices update as the market moves, so the rankings shift with the bazaar.

How the math works

Every dungeon drop has a known rate. The calculator looks up the current bazaar or auction price for each one and multiplies it by the drop chance. Essence and enchanted materials add small steady values. Rare drops like Necron's Handle, Shadow Fury, and Wither armor pieces add big numbers weighted by how rare they are. Sum it all up and you get the average per-run profit for that floor.

Then you enter your clear time and the per-run number becomes coins per hour. That's usually the metric that matters. A faster floor with smaller drops can easily out-earn a harder floor with bigger ones.

What you get

  • Expected profit per run for all Catacombs floors (F1-F7, M1-M7)
  • Live loot prices from bazaar and auction house
  • Drop rate calculations from wiki and community data
  • Coins per hour efficiency comparison
  • Normal vs Master Mode profit comparison
  • Custom run time inputs for personalized efficiency rankings
  • Rare drop contribution breakdown
  • Essence value calculations at current bazaar rates

Tips for running for profit

Run the highest floor you can clear quickly and cleanly. Wipes destroy your coins per hour, so a smooth F6 will usually beat a sloppy F7. Master Mode pays more but demands the gear and Catacombs level to back it up. Run the calculator with your actual times before you sink coins into Master Mode-tier equipment, sometimes the upgrade pays back fast, sometimes not.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which floor is most profitable?

Depends on your gear, class level, and run speed. Higher floors and Master Mode drop better loot but punish slow runs. Plug your real clear times into the calculator, coins per hour matters more than coins per run.

Where do drop rates come from?

The Hypixel SkyBlock wiki plus community data. Each drop's chance gets multiplied by its current market value to estimate per-run profit. Rates update when Hypixel changes the drop tables.

Does the calculator count rare drops?

Yes. Necron's Handles, Shadow Furies, Wither armor pieces, all in there, weighted by drop chance. You won't see one every run, but over hundreds of runs they make up a chunk of your real earnings.

Normal mode or Master Mode?

Master pays more but needs the Catacombs level and gear to clear fast. Compare the coins-per-hour for the same floor number on both modes using your own times. If your Master clears are way slower, normal often wins.

How does essence factor in?

Essence drops (Wither, Dragon, Spider, and so on) are valued at the current bazaar instant-sell price. Since you get it every run, it forms the floor's baseline profit, no matter how unlucky your rare drops are.
